Looking for a part-time RDH
We are a privately-owned, state-of-the-art office looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team at XO Dentistry in Phoenix. As a hygienist at XO Dentistry, you will play a vital role in providing excellent care to our patients. You’ll complete initial patient screenings/assessments, take xrays, conduct dental hygiene prophy's/scaling and root planing, assist dentists with examinations and collaborate with dentists for treatment. This dental hygienist should have incredible chairside manner and a passion for providing excellent dental services. Qualifications:- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
-Anesthesia Certification, Current AZ RDH License, Current CPR Certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Administering local anesthesia to hygiene patients and dentist's patients
Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including, oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and x-rays
Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods
Communicate with doctor where there are opportunities in patients for restorative and/or periodontal needs
Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient (review patient health history) and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients.
