Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality patient care while promoting oral health and hygiene. You will work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure that patients receive comprehensive dental services in a safe and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and conducting oral examinations.
Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the documentation review of patient records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture diagnostic images as needed.
Implement infection control protocols and maintain aseptic techniques during procedures.
Collaborate with the dental team in providing care for pediatric patients as necessary.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements
Valid dental hygienist license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and aseptic techniques.
Excellent patient care skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Proficiency in medical imaging and documentation review processes.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating strong organizational skills.
