Job Description

Our pediatric dental practice needs someone who can provide high-quality dental services to our clients and assist our dentists and dental hygienists with examinations and dental procedures. Our ideal candidate has 2 or more years of dental practicing experience, a coronal polishing license, and excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills. $18 - $25 hourly Responsibilities:

Greet patients and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during the appointment
Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
Prepare and lay out sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials inside treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures
Assist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team



Enjoy working with children and putting them at ease
Maintaining patient charts including health history, treatment plans, and operative notes
Taking radiographs
Other duties may include answering phones, checking in patients, and scheduling appointments

Qualifications:

Superb interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are desired
Proficiency with computers, and experience updating patient histories, and with dental software is necessary
