We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team as we seek to “improve lives one smile at a time” for the underserved. The successful candidate will assist our dentists in providing exceptional care to young patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease during dental procedures. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children, has excellent interpersonal skills, and is passionate about dental health.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist pediatric dentists during exams, treatments, and procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials before patient visits.
Take and develop X-rays, ensuring safety and accuracy.
Comfort and engage with young patients to reduce anxiety during dental visits.
Educate parents and children on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.
Sterilize instruments and equipment according to established protocols.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow during busy office hours.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive and efficient patient experience.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), preferably in a pediatric setting.
Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or completion of an accredited dental assisting program (required).
Radiology certification (required).
Experience working with children in a healthcare setting is a plus.
Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and safety regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual (preferred but not required).
Proven track record for reliability, integrity, and teamwork
