Dental Hygiene Assistant
Friendly fast-paced dental practice searching for a full-time self-motivated hygiene assistant to help hygienist perform efficiently. Responsibilities include preparing and presenting treatment plans, assisting hygienist as necessary, charting, taking dental x-rays, set-up and prepare dental equipment and instrumentation in accordance with established regulations and guidelines, perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain Hygienist's schedule and patient flow, provide excellent customer service to help ensure a smooth and comfortable visit for the patient, sanitize patient room after treatment, ensure treatment areas are fully stocked. Must be bi-lingual. Other duties as assigned.
Position RequirementsExperience in a professional environment with direct patient contact preferred
· Excellent positive attitude and customer service skills
· Professionalism and integrity in all aspects of job, including image and both verbal and written communication skills
· Possess exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including conflict resolution skills
· Strong organizational, planning and analytical skills
· Ability to multi-task and remain calm in a rapidly changing environment
· Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs as required
MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL AS NEEDED
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
