Job Description

Responsibilities

Seat patients in the dental office operatory
Take X-rays as needed
Review/Update/Record patient history (Dentrix a plus)
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental rooms clean, well-stocked, and prepped
Schedule appointments and re-care
Sterilize instruments according to regulations

Skills
Pay is based on experience. New assistants welcome to apply.
Schedule is for Wednesday and Thursday 7:30 to 5 and Friday 7:30 to 1

Dental Assistant Certificate
Radiology License
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma; graduate from dental assistant school is preferred

Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: 18 – 20 per week
