Noelridge Dental is looking for a competent dental assistant who will make a visit to our office the most pleasant experience possible for patients, while also helping the office run efficiently. Excellent customer service and administrative skills along with fluency in current dental assisting techniques are required. The dental assistant should be well-organized with great attention to detail and be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. Candidate should be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to execute office procedures effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities
Make patients feel welcome at Noelridge Dental
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups, ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
Capturing digital x-rays
Sterilizing instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Assisting dentist in managing dental emergencies
Keep dental operatories clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
Skills
Proven experience as a dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations required by OSHA
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma; RDA or CDA required
Additional certification or training is an asset
