Job Description
We are looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team and provide quality patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, taking and developing x-rays, preparing and sterilizing instruments, and providing postoperative instructions to patients. Additionally, the Dental Assistant will be responsible for other duties such as maintaining patient records, stocking supplies, and providing preoperative care.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for dental procedures.
Assist the dentist in all aspects of dental treatment, including radiographs, surgery, and preoperative care.
Maintain patient records and charts.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Private office looking for a dental assistant in a general dental restoration setting. Preferably 1-2 years experienced in the field.
Must be Experienced in taking impressions, making temporary crowns, creating treatment plans, explaining treatment plan to patients, maintaining work area and dental treatment rooms clean, sanitized, and organized, works well with other team members, takes initiative, detail oriented, but most importantly we are looking for someone who is caring and compassionate in the treatment of our patients.
*Cross trained in prosthetic and surgical assisting, digital scanning with iTero is a bonus but it is not a requirement.
