YOUR DAY AS A DENTAL HYGIENIST
When you join our dentistry as a Dental Hygienist, your day starts with welcoming your first patient and preparing for hygiene prophylaxis. You skillfully clean and polish their teeth, sharing tips to maintain that fresh feeling. Next, you perform a scaling and root planning (SRP) procedure, carefully applying Arestin to target problem areas. Between appointments, you take recall X-rays or an occasional full-mouth series (FMX), ensuring accurate diagnostics for the dentist. Midday, you use laser therapy to enhance a patient's gum health, explaining its benefits along the way. Throughout it all, you build rapport and empower patients to achieve their best oral health.
YOUR SCHEDULE
In this part-time oral health position, your schedule is as follows:
Monday and Wednesday: 9 am - 6 pm
Tuesday and Thursday: 7 am - 4 pm
REQUIREMENTS
Active State of California dental hygienist license
OUR IDEAL DENTAL HYGIENIST
An excellent chair-side manner and comfort in discussing hygiene education with patients are preferred. Bilingual candidates are also preferred.
