Job Description
Scholtz Dental office in Muskegon is a family centered, full service general dental practice seeking a patient focused Registered Dental Hygienist to add to their team three to four days a week.
Three day a week hours would be: Mondays 8:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch), Wednesdays 8:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch) and Thursdays 7:30am - 4:00pm (50 minute lunch).
The ideal candidate must be a true team player, have a positive attitude, enjoy building relationships with patients, be able to effectively communicate with the office team, and have a passion for continuing education. We are looking for someone who values professional growth and evolving to better serve our patients. Once a patient joins our practice, we enjoy building a long-term relationship - with the mutual goal of good health! The team is experienced, fun and professional.
Duties:
Perform dental hygiene procedures such as cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Take and develop dental x-rays
Administer local anesthesia under the dentist's supervision
Maintain accurate patient records
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
Experience:
The successful candidate should have the following skills and qualifications:
Proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge
Experience working in a dental office
Ability to work with patients of all ages
Requirements:
Valid state dental hygiene license
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail
Hours:
Monday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Tuesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm
