Applegate Dentistry is looking for a Dental Assistant to join our team at our brand-new office, located in the historic Licking Riverside neighborhood of Covington, KY.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist the dentist during dental procedures
· Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
· Take and develop dental x-rays
· Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
· Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
· Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
· Schedule and confirm appointments
· Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS
· To apply for this position, you must possess an active DA and X-ray certification, and experienced in oral surgery and taking impressions for prosthetics. You must be able to work in a high volume, fast paced office while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude.
Additionally You Must Possess:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· X-ray certification required
· Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
· Familiarity Dentrix software
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work well in a team environment
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
