Job Description

Paradise Coast Periodontics, the office of Dr. Scott Johnson and Dr. Sharlene Demehri, seeks to hire a 2nd Certified Dental Assistant for our Bonita Springs location. Applicant should be comfortable discussing and presenting treatment with patients in a professional manner. Must be a self-starter, team player and excited to learn.
Applicant must be willing, and able to travel between our locations in Naples and Bonita Springs for a training period. Hours are Monday-Thursday 8:15 AM-4:30 PM.
· At least one year of experience as a dental assistant
· Computer literacy; Familiarity with Curve is a plus but not required
· X-ray certified
· Excellent verbal communication skills
· Ability to prioritize and multitask
· Deadline and detail-oriented
Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where our patients feel comfortable
Chair-side assistance with exams and post-operative evaluations
Present treatment plans to patients in a professional manner
Select and set up instruments, equipment, and material needed
Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatory
Take records, digital impressions, x-rays and CBCT

Salary is commensurate with experience. This position includes paid time off, IRA with employer match, uniform provided, and healthcare reimbursement.
