Job Description

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleanings, including scaling and polishing of teeth.
Take and develop digital X-rays and interpret results.
Conduct patient assessments and review oral health histories.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants.
Assist with dental exams and provide support during procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and update charts as needed.
Sterilize and disinfect instruments and work areas following infection control protocols.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a high standard of care and patient satisfaction.

Skills

Certification or associate degree in Dental Hygiene
State licensure to practice as a Dental Hygienist in Wyoming
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team
Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods
Proficiency in using dental software for patient records
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
Strong knowledge of dental procedures and oral health.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $41.58 - $43.43 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
