Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. This role is crucial in ensuring the comfort and health of our patients while assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive oral health services.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and record vital signs, ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
Assist in the management of patient records using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe and aseptic environment.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a positive experience for young patients.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory and instruments.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred, with a strong understanding of patient care protocols.
Familiarity with dental office systems, including Eaglesoft and Dentrix, is highly desirable.
Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential.
Experience in assisting with various dental procedures will be considered an asset.

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
