Registered Dental HygienistOur general dental office is looking for an enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. You must have graduated from an accredited hygienist program and passed all of the necessary board exams. Experience in a dental office or clinic is a plus. In this position, you discuss any concerns the patient may have about their teeth and overall oral health and document them for the dentist's examination. Take x-rays when necessary, thoroughly clean the patient's teeth using proper scaling and polishing techniques, administer fluoride, and teach the patient how to improve their dental hygiene habits.Registered Dental Hygienist Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare patients for their exam
Assess patients' current dental hygiene
Take x-rays and other images when necessary
Clean and polish teeth
Administer fluoride
Administer anesthetic
Teach patients proper hygiene techniques

Registered Dental Hygienist Requirements and Qualifications

Associate degree or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
Current state license and x-ray certification
Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
Excellent communication skills
Able to multi-task
Proficient with Microsoft Office

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $44.00 per hour
