Job Description

This is a teachers assistant position. Flexibility is key. We will need you starting January 2025, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings (as needed) from 9:30 to 1:00. There are currently very experienced instructors, they will teach you what your duties will be for each class. The classes range from 6 to 16 students, so we need an additional assistant to help with organizing students into groups and maintaining each group. We would want you to learn our curriculum so that you could instruct lectures within three months after starting.
Responsibilities:- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.- Collaborate with other instructors and faculty members to enhance the curriculum and teaching methodologies.- Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field and incorporate relevant information into the curriculum.- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, addressing their concerns and assisting with academic development.
Experience:
- Knowledge of all general dental assisting procedures, must have current state certifications- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to students of varying backgrounds.- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.- Proficient in using computer technology for instructional purposes.- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
