Position Overview:Dental Salon is a privately owned, non-corporate dental practice established in 2003. Our finely appointed office occupies a top floor suite with panoramic views of the city, offering a very pleasant work environment.
We are seeking an experienced Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our friendly and experienced team. The Dental Treatment Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients within our practice. This position involves managing patient treatment plans, coordinating care, and serving as a liaison between patients and the dentist. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and a background in dental administration as well as a strong desire to contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly, show them around the practice and assist them with their treatment inquiries following their appointment.
Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling effectively.
Reinforce treatment options to patients after the dentist has presented treatment, ensuring they understand procedures and payment options.
Collaborate with dentists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Understand dental insurance plan dynamics and address questions from patients about their dental insurance coverage.
Maintain an organized office environment to enhance patient service.
Address patient concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Follow up with patients routinely.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator.
Experience with dental practice software. We use Open Dental and will train you on the software if you do not have prior experience with that specific platform.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building rapport.
Intimate knowledge of dental insurance.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a dental office setting is required.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care while managing the administrative aspects of a busy dental practice.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 ââ¬â 42 per week
