Dr. Bret Standage and Dr. Craig Standage at Pima Dental is looking to hire a full time assistant to join our upbeat, professional dental team.
We are a private practice in a modern office located at 101 & Shea Blvd.Full-time, 35-40 hours.
Applicants must be team players, enthusiastic and professional.Our practice believes in quality dentistry, where patients come first.We also believe in having fun as we are a "true family" practice.
Responsibilities

Welcome patients in the dental office
Prepare patients for treatment or checkup ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
Sterilize instruments
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Take x-rays as needed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked

Skills

Proven experience as dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
