Job Description
Dental Assistant
Looking for an experienced, engaged dental assistant
About the Job:
We are a small, but busy and growing, family owned solo doc Dental Office with an immediate opening for a full-time dental assistant with excellent communication skills and a strong initiative. We offer a friendly, caring, teamwork atmosphere, with hours on Mondays 10am-6pm and Tuesdays-Thursdays 8am-5pm. We offer competitive pay and benefits and as well as hands-on experience for those willing to grow and learn. Two (2) years of experience in the dental field is preferred, but we will train the right person.
We need someone who is or will be comfortable taking FMX, pan, CBCT, making temporary crowns, taking alginate impressions, pouring models, fabricating retainers and occlusal guards, patient intake and gathering an overview of patient health history, and recording detailed notes of appointments and patient interactions in our computer software. We use Open Dental as our practice software, which allows to customize parts of our practice as we see the needs change. Our practice is very team-driven with an emphasis on collaboration versus working solo. We offer benefits including PTO, Paid Holidays, 401K with employer match and dental benefits.
Pay $18.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
