Job Description
Dental Front Office Assistant The Dental Care Group is a fast-paced state-of-the-art dental practice with locations in Pembroke Pines and Aventura.
We are looking for a Patient Coordinator for our Pembroke Pines with previous experience to maintain a smooth day-to-day operation.

Duties and Responsibilities are but not limited to:
Follow up on insurance claims.
Documenting and coding information
Posting payments are received directly from policyholders and insurance companies.
Prepare statements and other documents; initiates action for payment of patient refunds; review and process claims for reimbursement.
Review patient accounts and determining appropriate billing distributions
Assisting patients and their parents in the check-in/ check-out process
Requirements:
Knowledge of dental functions and codes (at least 2-year experience in a dental office).
Good understanding of Insurance and following up on claims. Must keep up to date with Accounts Receivables.
Able to deal with insurance companies and work around their stall tactics and get claims paid; customer service skills in talking with patients about their accounts.
Well organized, diligent, and good communication and computer skills.
Should be a quick learner, personable, friendly, and a team player.
Experience:
Dentrix (Required)
dental billing: 2year (Required)
A patient coordinator manages the day-to-day process in an efficient way along with daily audits and corrections to ensure claims are not held up in the clearinghouse and responding to denied or underpaid claims.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.48 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
