Job Description

Woodview Dental Clinic is seeking a Licensed Dental Hygienist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome patients, sustain patient comfort and provide appropriate education throughout treatment
Conduct a thorough review of the patient's health history in order to provide quality care
Perform all hygiene clinical procedures to include x-rays, prophy, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride and intra-oral camera
Utilize Open Dental for patient scheduling and record keeping
Prepare treatment room with strict adherence to safety protocols and following OSHA & CDC recommendations
Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide
Partner with the providers and team to implement and maximize office workflow

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
License to practice dental hygiene in the State of Minnesota

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
Prolonged periods sitting and standing
Occasional lifting and carrying up to 15 pounds

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
