Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal oral health for our patients. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This is a full or part position. Monday 7-4 Tuesday 7-5 Wednesday 7-3 Thursday 7-2 and Friday 7-1. One hour lunch break on Monday and Tuesday. One hour long appointments per patient.
Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and record vital signs as necessary during patient assessments.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and support during procedures.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
Experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when required.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization within the clinical environment.
