Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the highest standards of infection control, and assisting in various dental procedures. This role requires a strong commitment to patient education and comfort, as well as proficiency in dental software systems. (Days - Wed, Friday)
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Take and record vital signs as part of the patient evaluation process.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Document patient care accurately in Eaglesoft or Dentrix systems, maintaining up-to-date records.
Implement infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination.
Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide excellent patient care, particularly in pediatric dentistry settings.
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is essential.
Strong skills in patient care with a focus on comfort and education.
Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach to patient interactions.

Pay: $54.00 - $61.00 per hour
