Job Description

Our office is looking for a friendly reliable Dental Hygienist to join our team. Hygienists are given 50 minute appointments with 1.5 hrs for new patients. Local anesthesia permit preferred but not required. Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. (typically 8:30-5:30). No nights or weekends.
Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth- Take dental x-rays- Assess patients' oral health and provide oral hygiene instructions- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental, CDR, or other dental software systems- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment- Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and preventive measures- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist- Proficiency in using Open Dental, CDR, or other dental software systems- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
