OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and will be responsible for providing high-quality dental hygiene services. This role is essential in promoting oral health and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and record vital signs, ensuring patient comfort throughout the process.
Utilize Open Dental dental software system to manage patient records effectively.
Implement infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique during all procedures.
Assist in implant and removable prosthetic care and education.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental operatory and instruments.
Utilize intraoral scanners to take allowed impressions and for patient education.

ExperienceCandidates should have a valid dental hygiene license and experience working in a dental office setting. Familiarity with infection control practices, vital signs monitoring, and assisting in various procedures is highly desirable. Experience with implant patients is a plus, as well as proficiency in using Open Dental dental software system. A strong understanding of aseptic techniques is essential for this role.

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 32 per week
