Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in providing exceptional dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry and be well-versed in infection control protocols. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health, educating patients, and assisting with various dental procedures in a supportive clinic environment.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric care.
Conduct thorough documentation reviews to ensure accurate patient records and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures as needed, utilizing knowledge of dental assisting techniques.
Maintain infection control standards and ensure the cleanliness of the dental clinic environment.
Utilize Dentrix or similar systems for patient scheduling, record keeping, and treatment planning.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred.
Familiarity with general dentistry practices and procedures is essential.
Knowledge of anatomy related to oral health is beneficial.
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus.
Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Dentrix is desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $57.32 - $59.07 per hour
