Key Responsibilities:

Assist the pediatric dentist during exams and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and quality of care
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to OSHA standards
Take X-rays, impressions, and perform other diagnostic tasks as directed by the dentist
Educate young patients and their parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling and patient flow
Provide a positive, calming environment for children and ensure a friendly, welcoming experience for families

Qualifications:

Experience: 1+ years of experience as a dental assistant (pediatric experience preferred, but not required)
Certification: Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in X-rays, sterilization techniques, and Open Dental software is a plus
Attributes: Patience, kindness, and a genuine love for working with children
