Job Description

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)

Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked

Skills

Proven experience as dental assistant (2 years or more)
Knowledge of dental produces
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma; graduated from dental assistant school is preferred
Great customer service skills
X-ray Certification is not required but preferred
MUST HAVE a minimum 2 years experience as a chair side dental assistant.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
Schedule:

8 hour shift
Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
