Niemi Endodontics in Vero Beach is hiring an experienced dental assistant

Dental knowledge is needed and a certified dental assistant, or CDA, with current certification from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) preferred.

Responsibilities:- Perform chairside assisting during dental procedures- Utilize dental terminology accurately in patient interactions- Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment- Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety- Utilize EMR systems for patient record management- Familiarity with Eaglesoft software for administrative tasks- Maintain HIPAA compliance in handling patient information- Assist with X-Rays and other dental imaging procedures- Conduct dental receptionist duties as needed- Monitor vital signs and assist with patient assessments- Document dental information accurately- Code dental procedures appropriately- Learn to use and operate learn to use Gentlewave procedure Collaborate with endodontist in providing root canal related care.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
