Responsibilities:- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing- Take digital dental X-rays- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions- Administer local anesthesia if experienced- Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
Requirements:- Valid dental hygiene license in South Carolina- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program- Proficiency in using Eaglesoft is helpful, but training available- Knowledge of dental coding for dental procedures- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a small team environment- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. We are more focused on quality of care than volume of patients. 1 hour is reserved for each patient.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $44.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 22 per week
