Job Description

We are looking for a caring, patient-focused and motivated dental assistant for a part-time position (3 days a week) in our state-of-the-art endodontic office. Previous training/experience preferred.
Being well-organized with attention to detail, on-time, professional and a team player are important qualities for this position.
Responsibilities

Welcoming patients and ensuring their comfort
Set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Provide post-operative care instructions
Preparing dental operatories for procedures

Skills

Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Proficient computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Eager to learn
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma
Graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred

Pay will be commensurate with previous training and experience
Criminal background check may be conducted
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 30 per week
