Just Kidz Dentistry is seeking a friendly and professional dental assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be an integral point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming dental experience.
Responsibilities:
Organize treatment room for each patient (instruments, records and radiographs)
Greet, seat and prepare patients for treatment
Present the patient health history to the dentist for update at each visit
Assist the dentist at chair side
Be prepared in the event of an emergency to assist the dentist with basic life support
Participate in patient education
Walk the patient to the business desk
Enter correct procedures into patient chart and prepare proper notes regarding patientââ¬â¢s visit
Clean up treatment room and operatory equipment according to OSHA and CDC infection guidelines
Order and keep inventory of clinical supplies as approved through the dentist
Enter patient charting data on computer
Empty trash cans daily
Maintain clean work area
Vacuum when necessary
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Detail -oriented with a commitment to accuracy
