We are seeking a dynamic person for a unique position in our single doctor practice in south Salem. This is a blended position that is part front desk receptionist and part back office sterile tech.
At least 2 years experience in a dental office (front or back office) is required. Candidates should be outgoing, friendly, reliable, able to multitask and a team player. Candidate needs to be a self-starter, self-motivated and driven.
Needed days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Hours could be flexible but a minimum of 10 hours per week is required, up to 20. During the training phase, more hours will be required.
The ideal candidate would also be able to cover full days when the front office personnel is sick or taking vacation.
In the reception portion of the job, you would be backing up the Front Office Coordinator with any/all job responsibilities including:
+ Greeting patients, answering phones and scheduling
+ Schedule patients when referred to specialist offices
+ Sending and receiving of patient information and xrays to outside offices
+ Coordinating with the back office team and updating patients on schedule delays
+ Insurance processing, verification and and understanding of ADA codes
+ Daily collections, copays and account receivables. High attention to detail required.
+ Presentation of treatment plans
+ Experience with dental software is required. Daisy software is plus but not required
+ Generate monthly statements and reports
+ Monthly recall of hygiene patients
When the back office gets busy or needs assistance you will help with turning over rooms and cleaning instruments.
This is an hourly, part-time position. Our office is small and pleasant. It's a great place to work. This is a unique situation in a fantastic office.
