Job Description

Acorn Pediatric Dental is looking for a dental assistant to join our growing practice! We're all about providing comfortable care to kids in a fun & welcoming environment. If you're energetic and enjoy working with kids, we want to hear from you! We're willing to provide on the job training for the right individual!
Responsibilities:
· Assist during dental procedures
· Prepare and organize dental instruments and materials
· Educate young patients and their parents about oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
· Take and develop dental radiographs
· Keep everything clean and sterile in the dental operatory
· Make sure infection control protocols are followed
· Keep patient records and documentation organized
· Provide exceptional customer service and ensure kids feel comfortable
· Help care for our therapy dog, Archie!
Qualifications:
· Experience in dentistry preferred, but not required
· Great communication and interpersonal skills
· Attention to detail and ability to multitask
· Computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
