Job Summary:As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a critical role in our practice by providing top-quality preventive dental care and patient education. Your work will help patients maintain oral health, prevent disease, and feel comfortable and confident in our office. We value our hygienists’ skills and are committed to supporting their growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings and scaling, removing plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth
Conduct oral examinations to assess dental health and identify any potential issues
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive materials
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care, including proper brushing and flossing techniques
Document and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations
Assist the dentist with various procedures as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure all sterilization procedures are followed

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
State licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Current CPR certification
Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-focused attitude
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Familiarity with dental software (experience with Dentrix is a plus)
