Job Description

```Duties```- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing- Conduct oral health assessments and screenings- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions- Administer local anesthesia- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
```Skills```- Proficient in dental documentation systems- Dental hygiene license- Experience working with wide range of patients and work well with fellow coworkers- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately- Familiarity with dental software Dentrix for scheduling and record keeping- Knowledge of aseptic technique for infection control- Ability to maintain and update patient dental records
