Dental Hygienist Responsibilities:

As a key ambassador for the practice, an important part of your role will consist of getting to know the patients and making them feel like part of the family at Lakeville Modern Dentistry
Removing calcium deposits/stains from teeth + SRPs + anesthetize patients as needed.
Polishing, fluoride treatments.
Take dental x-rays, intraoral photos, and use digital scanner
Training in Laser Bacterial Reduction with Diode Laser (Ideal)
Or willingness to learn Laser and get training (paid training).
Assisting in the diagnosis/treatment planning of dental caries, gum disease, and other oral conditions.
Obtaining/reviewing/updating patient health histories.
Demonstrate OHI and other important oral health techniques.
Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, (e.g., OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, FEHA, DOL, HR policies and practices)

Dental Hygienist Requirements:

Degree or certification for Hygiene from an accredited college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to meet Minnesota licensure requirements..
Valid and current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in accordance with Minnesota licensure requirements.
2+ years of experience in a dental setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to co-diagnose
Ability to work well in a team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $48.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
