We are looking to add an experienced Dental Assistant / RDA who can bring lots of energy and optimism to our practice. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist’s shoulders. Our new dental assistant should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations.We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make clinical procedures as smooth as possible.
Qualifications Include:

2 years minimum experience as a Registered Dental Assistant
X-ray and CPR certificate
Ability and certified to perform coronal polishing
Knowledgeable with all general dental procedures
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, energetic, and hardworking
Multi-task capable with attention to detail
Well organized and reliable
Confident but coachable

Responsibilities:

Prepare patients and rooms for treatment including instrument and material setups
Assist dentist with 4-handed dentistry
Maintain accurate patient records and procedure documentation
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Maintain a clean and organized lab
Monitor inventory and supply levels
Maintain overall office tidiness and keep operatories clean and well stocked
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
