OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients during dental procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure infection control during all procedures.
Conduct patient assessments, documenting findings accurately in medical records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and preventive care.
Assist in the development of treatment plans in collaboration with dentists.
Maintain knowledge of dental terminology and stay updated on current practices in general dentistry.
Ensure compliance with all health regulations and safety protocols within the clinic.
Manage medical coding for insurance purposes as needed.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques is essential.
Knowledge of dental terminology and experience with medical records management is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.

Pay: $44.26 - $46.09 per hour
