Job Description

To explain treatment options recommended by the doctors to patients and help determine clients' best option. Explains why treatment is necessary and what specific options would entail. Once a treatment is chosen by the patient, a TC will lay out potential payment plans and explain the next steps in treatment. TC helps determine ways to improve office efficiency and workflow, presenting these ideas to supervisors and helping to carry them out.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
-outlining dental options for clients
-interacting regularly with the dentist
- providing payment plans for patients
- answering phone calls or emails from patients that have any questions about treatments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Educates patients on individual treatment plan for given diagnosis.
- Discusses payment plans, pre-estimate and patient follow-up.
- Generates high procedure acceptance rates from patients, while adhering to Company policies and procedures.
- Makes outbound calls; follows up with patients that are on observation or recall, confirms new patient exams and "starts of treatment".
- Goes over treatments that the dentist has suggested to help the patient better understand the procedures and their costs.
- Informs the patient about any available financing plans, as well as works with insurance companies to gain authorization for dental procedures.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Strong customer service, sales, and negotiation skills
- Positive attitude to overcome common patient objections/rejections
- Knowledge of dental insurances to help patients use and understand their benefits.
- Ability to adapt to changing processes and to identify areas of process improvement.
- Capability to perform multiple tasks with changing priorities and to follow through to completion on all assignments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
