Job Type: Full time 35 hours a week
Monday 9:30am-6pm
Wednesday 9:30am-6pm
Thursday 6:30am-3:30pm
Friday 6:30am-3:30pm

This role is essential in creating a positive first impression for our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
Job Description
As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will play a critical role in managing office operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer phone calls and manage appointment scheduling.
- Verify patient insurance and process billing information.
- Check in/out patients and maintain accurate patient records.
- Assist with treatment planning, including coordinating appointments, discussing treatment options with patients, and ensuring the necessary documentation is completed.
- Handle patient inquiries and direct them to appropriate staff members as needed.
- Assist with patient intake and preparation for treatment.
- Manage patient forms and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with dental team members to ensure efficient office operations.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a dental office.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Dentrix management software is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized.
- Strong attention to detail and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of insurance verification, billing, and scheduling procedures is desirable.
