Clinical inventory management
Prepare patients for treatment ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Support sterilization
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Lab case management
Training and mentoring assistants
Keep ops clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with treatment presentation
Skills
Proven experience as dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Competence with Dentrix (will train
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Experience:
Dental assisting: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
X-Ray Certification (Preferred)
Work Location: In person Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule:
4-8 hour shift
