Job Description

Northwoods Dental Group is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are a general dental practice with a focus on building a professional relationship based on mutual trust and confidence. We aim to provide patients with state of the art technology and strive to actively seek continuing education for our team in order to give our patients the best care. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working and detailed oriented individual to add to our team.
Our hygienists see ~8 patients a day (1 hour adult prophys, 30-40 minute child prophys, 1.5 hour new patient visits and 1.5 hour per 2 quads SCRP). 1 hour lunches, monthly team meetings, morning huddles (15 mins prior to first patient), and multiple team building events though the year.

Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planning- Take digital dental x-rays- Assess patients' oral health and provide oral hygiene instructions- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental practice management systems- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile work environment

Our patient hours are Monday-Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday's 8am to 12pm, no weekends or late evenings. We are looking for someone either Monday-Wednesday or Monday-Wednesday plus Friday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $53.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
