Dental Receptionist and Treatment Coordinator (Spanish-speaking)
Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for helping patients achieve their best oral health? If so, we want you to join our team as a Dental Treatment Coordinator and Front Office Receptionist! We are a reputable dental office committed to providing high-quality care to our patients, and we are seeking an experienced individual to assist in coordinating treatments, managing billing processes, and welcoming our diverse patient base.
Responsibilities:
Front Office Reception: Greet patients warmly and ensure a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the office.
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries. Handle patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Assist with patient paperwork and data entry.
Treatment Coordination: Schedule and coordinate patient appointments for dental treatments and procedures.
Educate patients on treatment options, costs, and insurance coverage. Act as a liaison between patients, dentists, and the billing department. Ensure patients have a clear understanding of their treatment plans and financial obligations.
Assist with patient intake and paperwork as needed. Assist with general office tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the dental office. Stay up-to-date on dental insurance billing codes and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
Patient Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with patients by addressing their questions and concerns.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain and update patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
3 years experience in dental treatment coordination, billing, and front office reception is required.
Proficiency in dental software and electronic health records systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of dental insurance billing codes and procedures.
Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in financial records.
Empathetic and patient-focused approach to customer service.
Fluent in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in dental assisting or dental office management is a plus.
