Position Overview:As a Registered Dental Assistant at Jones and Secor Family Dentistry, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, taking digital dental X-rays, preparing and sterilizing instruments, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Take digital dental X-rays and 3d intraoral scans in accordance with established protocols.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts as needed.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
Proficiency in using Eaglesoft and Dexis.
Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques is essential.
Ability to take accurate X-rays and assist with various dental procedures.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
A commitment to providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and professional manner.
