Job Description
Job Title: Dental Hygienist/ Three Saturdays a Month.
Location: North Creek Dental CareReports To Practice Manager/ Lead RDH

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing teeth.
Evaluate and monitor patients' periodontal health through thorough screenings.
Administer fluoride treatments and other preventive care.
Provide personalized oral health education and preventative care strategies to patients.
Patient Reactivation and Wellness:
Take a proactive approach in reactivating patients who have missed appointments or fallen behind in their care to ensure they remain on track with their wellness plan.
Follow up with patients regularly to ensure they stay on the Wellness Wheel and receive the ongoing treatment they deserve.
Help patients understand the importance of regular dental visits for preventative care and comprehensive treatments.
Education on Dental and Systemic Health:
Educate patients on the critical connection between their oral health and systemic health, helping them understand how conditions such as gum disease can affect overall wellness, particularly for those with existing conditions like diabetes, heart disease, or immune disorders.
Tailor patient education to consider their unique health histories and existing conditions, ensuring they are well informed about their oral health's role in managing or preventing broader systemic health issues.
Collaboration with the Dental Team:
Work closely with dentists to develop personalized treatment plans.
Accurately document patient histories and ensure up-to-date charting.
Foster effective communication within the dental team to ensure a smooth patient experience.
Patient Relationship Building:
Build respectful, compassionate, and professional relationships with patients to help them feel comfortable and cared for.
Address patient concerns with a proactive and empathetic approach, easing dental anxieties.
Compliance and Safety:
Maintain a high standard of infection control and adhere to all safety protocols.
Ensure compliance with North Creek Dental Careââ¬â¢s policies and procedures.
Support Office Culture:

Qualifications:
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state.
