Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

Who We Are

We are a small High End General Dentistry office. We have one dentist and two hygienists. We do not see HMO or DentiCal. We see PPO and Private adult patients, with occasional children. We treat each patient like family and each patient gets their reserved appointment time. The dentist is a graduate of UCSF and has been an instructor at USC for the dental students, and for the foreign dentist program. He has taught at Pasadena City College for the Dental Hygien program, and he teaches at the East Los Angeles Occupational Center for the Dental Assistant program. 

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a friendly, hard working dental assistant with good people skills. We have trained many great dental assistants if you are new to dentistry. If you are an experienced dental assistant, all you need to learn is where all the items are located and learn the doctor's techniques. We are looking for a Spanish speaking assistant. We see 50% Spanish speaking patients. The dentist is fluent in Spanish also. We are looking for someone with common sense/Practical sense, and who is a fast learner. Must be a multi-tasker and computer knowledgeable to enter treatment performed into the Dentrix system for Chart entry. We are looking for an organized and clean person. 

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist in all procedures 
• sterilize instruments
• set up and clean up each room
• take X-Rays
• Help with Perio Probing 
• Call labs for pick ups and keep record of due dates
• Occasionally answer phones if everyone is busy
• Help with chart entries of treatment performed
