Job Description
Overview:We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice who is comfortable with chairside assisting as well as checking patients in and out at the front desk. Dental Salon is a well established dental practice with a new location in Scottsdale offering a full range of dental services. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help ensure excellent patient care both clinically and administratively.
Minimum one year dental assisting experience is required.
Duties include but are not limited to:- Prepare patients for dental work- Sterilize dental instruments and tools- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills include but are not limited to:The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:- Knowledge of dental terminology- Familiarity with dental software- Understanding of dental coding- Knowledge of infection control
Nice-to-have Skills:- bilingual English - Spanish speaking
Must-have Skills:- dental assisting - 1 year
