Job Description

Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dental Hygienist for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

Looking for a dental hygienist to join our awesome Shea Dental Team. We have been a staple in the Scottsdale area for over 30 years. Great perks with this position! Monthly massages, breakfast and lunch provided.

Monday-Thurs 8-4pm and Fridays 8-12
Duties include:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- Taking dental x-rays
- Conduct oral cancer screenings
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral health care recommendations
-Laser certification
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information in dental software system Eaglesoft.
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean dental environment
- Valid dental hygiene license in AZ
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
