Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our highly rated dental practice. This is a Part Time position. We are booked out too far and are looking to add a few shifts. If you are looking for part time hours or wanting to supplement or add hours to an existing schedule, this could be a great fit. We don't do assisted hygiene, we provide time to do our best work and build relationships. Most importantly, we treat every patient as if they were our family.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our patients. This position requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients, both new and existing.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the documentation review and maintenance of patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Provide care for patients, ensuring a comfortable and friendly environment.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and current best practices in dental hygiene.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dental clinic to promote a safe working environment.
Skills
Strong understanding of dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols.
Excellent patient care skills, with a focus on creating positive experiences for patients of all ages.
Ability to perform documentation review accurately and efficiently.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.

Pay: $46.00 - $50.00 per hour
